Music Together Teacher
Shy is a singer-songwriter, born on a Kibbutz in Northern
Israel. He is a graduate of the Berklee/Rimon School of
Jazz and Contemporary Music where he studied guitar
and voice. Shy continues to play and compose music in
Palo Alto, California, where he currently lives with his wife
and two children.
Shy had a very exciting musical career in Israel before
moving to California. He published his own music,
preformed with his band, and taught guitar and voice.
After his two children were born, he began looking for a
way to share his love of music with them. Taking the
Music Together teacher training was the answer.
We welcome Shy to our Mo Music staff as he shares his
beautiful voice and guitar with our Mo Music families.
Who knows, he might even teach some funny Israeli
children songs in Hebrew.
Shy teaches at our San Carlos and Redwood City
Recreation Centers.
