Alison Curcio, Music Together Teacher
Possessing a lifelong commitment to music, we are fortunate to have Alison Curcio
as a teacher within our Mo Music community. Alison’s study of music includes
piano instruction since early childhood and extensive vocal training as an adult. She
holds degrees in Piano Performance from Skidmore College and Music Therapy
from Montclair University, has served as professional accompanist to many choirs
and soloists, and has taught piano for over twenty years.
Alison discovered our program while attending class with her eldest daughter ten
years ago, and she currently attends with her second daughter — she knew early
on that becoming a Music Together teacher was a perfect way to exercise her
professional background, previous work leading Mommy and Me Music classes,
and firsthand understanding of parenting young children! Alison relocated from New
York with her husband and daughters 5 years ago. They live in Half Moon Bay.
Amy teaches at St. Peter’s, one of our two Redwood City locations.
